Short recommendation

Choose Standard if you only need the game. Deluxe is the cosmetic-and-charm tier. Premium Deluxe adds the broadest outfit set and an in-game digital mini soundtrack.

Standard purchase-period bonus

Official store listings describe two base bonus items:

  • Charm: Lion Dog—an equippable charm that strengthens Musashi's abilities.
  • Sword Appearance: Sealed Curse—a cosmetic sword appearance that does not change battle performance.

Capcom notes that the Equipment screen, Spirit Mirrors, and appearance-changing options unlock as the game progresses. Bonus items may also become available after launch.

Extra Deluxe and Premium pre-order items

Deluxe and Premium Deluxe listings add Charm: White Monkey and Sword Appearance: White Lion to the Lion Dog and Sealed Curse items. These should not be confused with the larger Deluxe/Premium content kits included in those editions.

Pre-order changed to an early-adopter bonus

When Capcom moved the launch to September 4, it changed the digital pre-order bonus into an early-adopter bonus available until September 26, 2026 at 8:59 AM JST. Capcom's Steam notice translates the cutoff to September 25 at 4:59 PM PDT / 7:59 PM EDT and September 26 at 00:59 BST.

Store wording can differ by region and format. Check the item list shown at checkout before paying; do not assume every physical or third-party listing uses the same offer.

The Demo bonus is separate

Keeping public Demo save data can qualify you for the Kubi Akari charm in the full game. That is a Demo participation reward, not a reason to buy a higher edition. Demo story progress itself does not carry into the base game.

Avoid duplicate purchases

Platform pages warn that some content appears in bundles. Before upgrading or adding a kit later, compare the included-item list against your account's existing licenses. Cosmetics do not change the sword's combat performance unless a listing explicitly identifies an item as an equippable charm with an ability effect.
